Czytaj do oporu za $9,99

Amerykańskie media donoszą, że Amazon ma uruchomić usługę Kindle Unlimited. Miesięczny abonament w wysokości 9,99 dolara da nielimitowany dostęp do 600 tysięcy książek i audiobooków, ale z wyłączeniem pięciu największych amerykańskich wydawców: Hachette, HarperCollins, Macmillan, Penguin Random House i Simon & Schuster. Sam Amazon na razie nie potwierdza oficjalnie takiej usługi, ale jeśli się ona pojawi, to będzie dostępna oczywiście tylko dla odbiorców z USA.

    Na razie dla odbiorców z USA, a za parę lat pewnie i w naszym zacnym kraju ;) Nawet jeśli nie bezpośrednio od Amazona, to jeśli pomysł chwyci, być może pojawią się krajowi naśladowcy i będziemy sobie czytać do woli. (Pomijam smutny fakt, że e-booki darmowe na taką skalę mogą ostatecznie przygnieść wydawcnistwa papierowe, które jednak mają swoj klimat... )
